Srinagar, December 03 (KNO) : Ailing Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) chairman, Muhammad Yasin Malik on Monday said that Kashmir was turned into a slaughter house by forces under the pretext of operation-all-out, humanity was being trampled and brutalized and human dignity was being crushed under military boots but no one among the human family especially from international community seems to bother. In a statement issued to KNO, Malik said that “our 18-month-old baby was being traumatized by snatching her eye sight by the biggest democracy but no human rights champion was feeling any pain or regret.” “Are Kashmiris not humans? Don’t they have same blood, flesh, and emotions? Should not their human rights be respected as of other nations and humans? Why this apathy and double standard with human in Kashmir was being observed and done by the international community,” he said.He said that recently UNHCR did a commendable job by releasing a report on human rights of Kashmiris but it needed a follow up action but seemingly till now only action taken is that by Indians who have expedited their aggression and human rights abuses in Kashmir from last some months.“Tyranny and oppression cannot put Kashmiri nation into submission and the fact of the matter is that it will yield India nothing but shame,” he said, adding that people of Jammu Kashmir will keep resisting this aggression peacefully and will continue with their struggle till the achievement of the sacred goal.Malik also condemned the ‘ongoing human rights’ abuses by forces in nooks and corners of Kashmir valley.
